Biography

Max McKie manages the simulation department at 360 Rail Services out of Denver, Colorado. 360 Rail Services is a self-performing expert in all railroading services, including track design, engineering, construction, and railroad operations.

Max comes from a background in photonics and plasma physics and has carried over analytical techniques from simulating physical systems in the lab for use in industry. The simulation department produces logistics simulations for various rail-served industries to optimize operations at local and international scales by identifying bottlenecks and mitigation strategies, utilizing computational optimization techniques to generate the most efficient design and operating plans, and generating troves of KPI data in a digital environment to gain a thorough understanding of expected costs, risks, and production capacities.
