Biography

Peter Scholz is a certified land use planner, project manager, and transportation planner. He obtained a bachelor's in Geography from Simon Fraser University in 1998, a master's in Land Use Planning from the University of British Columbia in 2003, and an executive master’s in governance from École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, Switzerland, in 2019. Most of his work experience is in North America, with some work in Africa.

Peter lived in Nunavut for a decade and has consulted extensively with Yukon and southern Alberta First Nations. Until its dissolution in 2021, he worked in economic development and route planning for the Alaska-to-Alberta Railway.
